Omschrijving
AULA, naar ontwerp van A. Tepe uit 1880 op rechthoekige plattegrond van één bouwlaag onder met leien gedekt zadeldak. Plattegrond oorspronkelijk bestaande uit twee vertrekken, ruimte voor de opbaring aan noordzijde en lijkbewaring aan zuidzijde. Noord- en zuidgevel uitgevoerd als topgevel met drie klimmende spitsboogvensters met glas-in-lood en bakstenen traceringen. Middelste travee van de noordgevel met ingang. Westgevel met twee tot topgevel opgetrokken ingangstraveeën. In deze traveeën een houten deur met siersmeedwerk en glas-in-lood vensters.
Waardering
Aula van algemeen belang vanwege de architectuurhistorische waarde als voorbeeld van een bijgebouw opgetrokken in de stijl van de neo-gotiek en als onderdeel van het oeuvre van A. Tepe. Tevens vanwege de cultuurhistorische waarde als onderdeel van de R.K. begraafplaats St. Barbara.

Description
HALL, to the design of A. Tepe from 1880 on a rectangular ground plan of one storey under a slated gabled roof. Ground plan originally consisting of two rooms, space for the lying-in-state on the north side and mortuary storage on the south side. North and south facades executed as stepped gables with three rising pointed arch windows with leaded glass and brick tracery. Middle bay of the north facade with entrance. West facade with two entrance bays built up as stepped gables. In these bays a wooden door with ornamental ironwork and leaded glass windows.
Valuation
Hall of general importance because of architectural-historical value as an example of an ancillary building built in the style of neo-gothic and as part of the oeuvre of A. Tepe. Also because of cultural-historical value as part of the R.K. cemetery St. Barbara.
