Omschrijving
Rijtje van vier HOFJESWONINGEN (bouwblok D), deel uitmakend van het "Hofje voor Protestantse Weduwen" gebouwd in 1936, op een I-vormige plattegrond.
De gevels op een plint of trasraam mert ter plaatse van de scheidingsmuren van de woningen geblokte bakstenen pilasters. Behoudens een enkele uitzondering zijn alle vensters schuiframen. Alleen in de Vlaamse gevels zijn twee keperboogvormig afgesloten stolpramen geplaatst. In de sluitsteen in de strekken boven de vensters de oorspronklijke huisnummers.
Voor het overige heeft bouwblok D dezelfde kenmerken als gegeven bij de algemene omschrijving van het complex.

Row of four COURTYARD HOUSES (building block D), forming part of the "Almshouse for Protestant Widows" built in 1936, on an I-shaped floor plan.
The façades stand on a plinth or travertine course with, at the locations of the party walls of the dwellings, blocked brick pilasters. With the exception of a few instances, all windows are sash windows. Only in the Flemish gables are two stonemullioned windows with segmental arch openings placed. In the keystones in the lintels above the windows are the original house numbers.
For the rest, building block D has the same characteristics as given in the general description of the complex.
