Omschrijving
Reeks van 15 HOFJESWONINGEN. De woning (nr 26) die de beide rijen van aaneengesloten hofwoningen bouwblok A tot u-vorm completeert, springt ten opzichte van de flankerende woning naar voren. De gevels op een plint met ter plaatse van de scheidingsmuren van de woningen geblokte bakstenen pilasters. Behoudens een enkele uitzondering zijn alle vensters schuiframen. Alleen in de Vlaamse gevels zijn twee keperboogvormig afgesloten stolpramen geplaatst. In de sluitsteen in de strekken boven de vensters de oorspronkelijke huisnummers.
Voor het overige heeft het blok dezelfde kenmerken als gegeven bij de algemene omschrijving van het complex.

HOFJESWONINGEN (bouwblok A) van het "Hofje voor Protestantse Weduwen", van algemeen belang vanwege de ensemblewaarde in relatie met de overige complexonderdelen.
Cultuurhistorische omschrijving
Gebouwd voor de Vereniging tot hulp van Protestantse Weduwen, opgericht december 1872 met als doel woonruimte te verschaffen aan protestantse weduwen. Gelijktijdig werd toen de grond gekocht waarop het huidige hofje staat.

Description
Series of 15 COURTYARD HOUSES. The dwelling (no. 26) which completes the two rows of adjoining courtyard houses in building block A to a U-shape projects forward relative to the flanking dwelling. The façades stand on a plinth with, at the locations of the party walls of the dwellings, blocked brick pilasters. With the exception of a few instances, all windows are sash windows. Only in the Flemish gables are two stonemullioned windows with segmental arch openings placed. In the keystones in the lintels above the windows are the original house numbers.
For the rest, the block has the same characteristics as given in the general description of the complex.
Valuation
COURTYARD HOUSES (building block A) of the "Almshouse for Protestant Widows", of general importance due to its ensemble value in relation to the other complex components.
Cultural-historical description
Built for the Association for the Aid of Protestant Widows, founded December 1872 with the purpose of providing housing for protestant widows. Simultaneously the land was purchased at that time on which the present almshouse stands.
