Inleiding
In 1887 in overwegend neo-renaissancestijl gebouwd KOETSHUIS met bovenwoning en stal, behorende bij het pand Bemuurde Weerd O.Z. 19, uitgevoerd als L-vormige plattegrond, in schijn twee naast gelegen panden.
Omschrijving
Koetshuis (links), twee bouwlagen met zadeldak met nok loodrecht op de rooilijn, het overstek in chaletstijl, met op begane grond houten koetsdeuren met segmentboogvormige beëindiging, op de verdieping houten H-schuifvensters met rondboogvormige beëindiging. Voorts over gehele gevel banden en motieven in gele baksteen.
Stal rechts van één bouwlaag met zadeldak met nok evenwijdig aan de rooilijn, met dubbele staldeuren en enkelvoudige ingang links met boogvormige beëindiging, zolderluik met forse overstek rustend op gesneden consolen. Ook dit deel heeft banden en baksteen- motieven in de gevel.
Waardering
Koetshuis met bovenwoning, waarnaast bijbehorende stal, van algemeen belang vanwege de architectuurhistorische waarde als mooi voorbeeld van een in neo-renaissance opgetrokken pand. Van stedenbouwkundige waarde vanwege de ligging aan de Oosterstroom.
