Inleiding
FAMILIEGRAF WARBLINGS, 1889. Gesitueerd op het kerkhof achter het koor van de R.K. Kerk van de H. Jozef te Doenrade, in het verlengde van de middenas van genoemde kerk. Het grafmonument is opgericht in opdracht van pastoor J.M. Warblings van de Jupille-gemeente te Luik en vervaardigd door de firma Laboureur et Filles te Jupille, Luik.
Omschrijving
Hardstenen familiegraf, met de kenmerken van een priestergraf. Een getrapt hardstenen bordes, waarop een vierzijdige grafsteen. Een bekroning voorzien van vlamornamenten, frontons met IHS-monogram en een kruis met corpus. Op de hoeken van de grafsteen ornamenten in de vorm van omgekeerde toortsen. Op de grafsteen is een witmarmeren plaat bevestigd met het opschrift: "Hier ligt begraven de Hoog Eerw Monseigneur Joannes Christianus Warblings voornaamste stichter en weldoener dezer parochie en kerk. Huis Prelaat van Z.H. Paus Leo XIII, vicaris-generaal van Mgr den bisschop van Luik en Deken van 't kathedrale kapittel aldaar. Geboren te Doenrade den 9 April 1814. Overleden te Battice België den 12 July 1888. Hij rust in vrede". Bordes en grafsteen worden omgeven door zes hardstenen zuiltjes in de vorm van brandende toortsen, onderling verbonden door kettingen.

Description
Hardstone family grave, with the characteristics of a priest's grave. A stepped hardstone platform, on which stands a four-sided gravestone. A top ornamented with flame ornaments, pediments with IHS monogram and a cross with corpus. At the corners of the gravestone ornaments in the form of inverted torches. On the gravestone is mounted a white marble plaque with the inscription: "Here lies buried the Most Reverend Monsignor Joannes Christianus Warblings principal founder and benefactor of this parish and church. Papal Prelate of His Holiness Pope Leo XIII, vicar-general of Mgr the bishop of Liège and Dean of the cathedral chapter there. Born at Doenrade on 9 April 1814. Died at Battice Belgium on 12 July 1888. He rests in peace". Platform and gravestone are surrounded by six hardstone pillars in the form of burning torches, interconnected by chains.
