Inleiding
De natuurstenen VAAS bevindt zich aan de zuidzijde van het trapeziumvormige Wilhelmina Park, ten noorden van de Bolswarderweg. De vaas is in de jaren twintig vervaardigd, door wie is niet bekend.
Omschrijving
De natuurstenen vaas bestaat uit een vierkant, dubbeldelig basement met op de hoeken schijfvormige, decoratieve elementen. Hierboven is de grote vaas geplaatst, waarvan de korte poten op de hoeken niet op het basement steunen, maar in de lucht lijken te zweven.
Waardering
De natuurstenen vaas in het Wilhelmina Park te Sneek, vervaardigd rond 1920, is van algemeen cultuurhistorisch belang:
- als essentieel onderdeel van een groter complex dat cultuurhistorisch en maatschappelijk van nationaal belang is;

The stone urn consists of a square, two-part basement with on the corners disc-shaped, decorative elements. Above this the large urn is placed, of which the short feet on the corners do not rest on the basement, but appear to float in the air.
