Inleiding
De dubbele, overdekte ZITBANK voor Ouden van Dagen is in 1920 gemaakt en in het Wilhelmina Park geplaatst, ten noorden van het trapeziumvormige terrein en ten zuiden van het pad dat in oostelijke richting loopt, parallel aan en ten zuiden van de Oude Dijk. De zitbank is ontworpen door gemeente-architect Sjibe Jellema, in opdracht van het Old Burger Weeshuis.
Omschrijving
De dubbele zitbank bestaat uit twee bakstenen zijmuurtjes, twee houten zitdelen die met de ruggen naar elkaar zijn geplaatst en een houten rechthoekige overhuiving. De overhuiving wordt vanaf de zijmuurtjes door twee houten delen met tussenschot ondersteund. In het zuidelijke muurtje is de gedenksteen geplaatst, waarop te lezen is: "11 juni 1920, de eerste steen gelegd door Jan Has 90 jaar".

The double, covered BENCH for the Aged was made in 1920 and placed in Wilhelmina Park, north of the trapezoidal site and south of the path running in an easterly direction, parallel to and south of the Oude Dijk. The bench was designed by municipal architect Sjibe Jellema, on behalf of the Old Burger Weeshuis.
Description
The double bench consists of two brick side walls, two wooden seating parts placed back-to-back and a wooden rectangular cover. The cover is supported from the side walls by two wooden parts with intermediate partition. In the southern wall the commemorative stone is placed, which reads: "11 June 1920, the foundation stone laid by Jan Has aged 90".
