Omschrijving onderdeel 5: KOETSHUIS met TOREN.
Aan de noordzijde van het voorplein staat een in oorsprong 18de-eeuws koetshuis, dat zijn huidige neoclassicistische aanzien in 1976 verkreeg waarbij enkele elementen in neogotische stijl van de verbouwing van 1837-1838 door J.D. Zocher jr. bewaard zijn gebleven. In 1978 is het koetshuis voor bewoning geschikt gemaakt en in vier appartementen opgesplitst, de wijzigingen die hiermee gepaard zijn gegaan zijn voor de bescherming van ondergeschikt belang. Het op rechthoekige grondslag opgetrokken bakstenen gebouw met witgepleisterde voorgevel en linkerzijgevel bestaat uit één bouwlaag onder een met Oud-Hollandse pannen gedekt afgeplat schilddak. De voorgevel kent een regelmatige indeling van vier voormalige inrijdeuren (thans glas). In de rechter zijgevel aan de waterzijde is de l9de-eeuwse gevelindeling en het neogotische karakter enigszins bewaard gebleven; centraal in de gevel direct onder de daklijst is een groot meerruits kruisvenster met klein driezijdig fronton dat boven de daklijst uitsteekt. Onder dit venster twee spitsboogvormige kelderlichten en aan weerszijden een spitsboogvenster. Negentiende-eeuwse kapconstructie. Op de noordoosthoek van het voorplein, in de bouwmassa van het koetshuis opgenomen, staat een achtkantige TOREN onder een achtzijdige met leien gedekte spits met peervormige bekroning. In het muurwerk van de toren zijn aan vier van de acht zijden minstens drie boogvormig gesloten openingen geweest, die de toren als duiventoren bestempelen zoals vermeld in 1563.

Description component 5: COACH HOUSE with TOWER.
On the north side of the forecourt stands a coach house of originally 18th-century date, which acquired its present neoclassical appearance in 1976, whereby some elements in neogothic style from the alteration of 1837-1838 by J.D. Zocher jr. have been retained. In 1978 the coach house was made suitable for habitation and subdivided into four apartments; the changes associated with this are of subordinate importance for the protection. The brick building erected on a rectangular plan with whitewashed front and left side façade consists of one storey under a hipped roof covered with Old Dutch tiles. The front façade has a regular arrangement of four former entrance doors (now glass). In the right side façade on the water side, the 19th-century façade arrangement and the neogothic character have been partly preserved; centrally in the façade directly below the eaves line is a large multi-light cross window with small three-sided pediment projecting above the eaves line. Below this window two lancet-shaped cellar lights and on either side a lancet window. 19th-century roof truss structure. On the north-east corner of the forecourt, incorporated into the building mass of the coach house, stands an octagonal TOWER under an eight-sided spire covered with slate with pear-shaped finial. In the masonry of the tower on four of the eight sides are at least three arch-shaped closed openings, which identify the tower as a dovecote as mentioned in 1563.
