Omschrijving onderdeel 2: HISTORISCHE TUIN- EN PARKAANLEG.
Aan de Dorpsweg ligt de buitenplaats met direct aan de weg het hoofdgebouw annex boerderij. Aan de straatzijde staat een rij linden en een taxushaag (herplant). Haaks op de weg loopt een rechte oprijlaan langs het hoofdgebouw naar het koetshuis, alwaar deze een laanbeplanting met platanen heeft. Vanaf het koetshuis leidt een gebogen pad naar het wandelbos. De boerderij heeft een aparte, evenwijdig verlopende toegang (dreef) met een laanbeplanting van walnoten uit circa 1910. Links daarvan ligt een weiland met drinkpoel (vaate) omringd door enkele oude kastanjebomen. Achter het huis en het boerenerf ligt een kleinschalige 19de-eeuwse aanleg in landschapsstijl met een rondgaand slingerpad. Op een kaart uit circa 1850 staat de aanleg weergegeven, zoals deze thans nog aanwezig is, alleen aan de noordzijde is een strook van het parkbos aan bebouwing opgeofferd. Centraal ligt een ronde komvormige vijver en een heuvel met wandelpad rondom. Aan de noordzijde van de kom staan twee oude eiken, waartussen een prieel stond die in 1976 is afgebrand. In het parkbos staan veel oude loofbomen; verspreid over het terrein staan oude taxusbomen. Het parkbos heeft een besloten karakter zonder zichten naar buiten toe. Tegenover het koetshuis ligt een rechthoekige moestuin (thans weiland), oorspronkelijk met tuinmuur van IJsselsteentjes die in 1986 is omgevallen.
Waardering
De HISTORISCHE TUIN- EN PARKAANLEG is van algemeen belang:

On the Dorpsweg lies the country house with the main building annex farmstead directly on the road. On the street side stands a row of linden trees and a yew hedge (replanted). At right angles to the road a straight drive runs along the main building to the carriage house, where it has a tree-lined approach with plane trees. From the carriage house a curved path leads to the woodland walk. The farmstead has a separate, parallel running access (avenue) with tree-lined approach of walnut trees from around 1910. To the left of this lies a meadow with drinking pool (vessel) surrounded by some old chestnut trees. Behind the house and the farmyard lies a small-scale 19th-century layout in landscape style with a winding circular path. On a map from around 1850 the layout is shown, as it is still present now, only on the north side a strip of the park wood has been sacrificed to building. Centrally lies a round bowl-shaped pond and a hill with a walking path around it. On the north side of the bowl stand two old oaks, between which a pavilion stood which burned down in 1976. In the park wood stand many old deciduous trees; scattered over the grounds are old yew trees. The park wood has a secluded character without views outward. Opposite the carriage house lies a rectangular vegetable garden (now meadow), originally with garden wall of IJsselstones which collapsed in 1986.
