Omschrijving onderdeel 19: WOONHUIS.
Ten noordwesten van het hoofdgebouw nabij de boerderij 'De Hoge Spijk' ligt een woonhuis uit 1925 (gevelsteen) gebouwd voor de familie Van Verschuer. Het op rechthoekige grondslag opgetrokken, blokvormige pand bestaat uit twee bouwlagen onder een met gesmoorde verbeterde Hollandse pannen gedekt, afgeknot schilddak met gemetselde hoekschoorstenen. De bakstenen gevels zijn kordonlijst (gemetselde rollaag), de strekken boven de vensters zijn voorzien van harstenen geboortestenen.
De symmetrisch ingedeelde voorgevel heeft een middenrisaliet geflankeerd door drie vensterassen met achtruits draaivensters met luiken. In het risaliet is de toegangsdeur onder een houten luifel gedragen door vier zuilen van de Dorische orde. De houten paneeldeur heeft aan weerszijden smalle hoge ganglichten waarvoor smeedijzeren roosters en op de verdieping drie dicht naast elkaar geplaatste tienruits lichten voor het trapportaal. Tegen de linker zijgevel is een rechthoekige serre gebouwd met achtruits vensters en tienruits tuindeuren. Op de serre bevindt zich een balkon met eenvoudige balustrade waarop dubbele balkondeuren met luiken openen. Rechts van de serre drie achtruits vensters op de begane grond en een dubbel achtruits venster op de verdieping. De rechter zijgevel bevat een toegangsdeur met drieruits bovenlicht geflankeerd door links één en rechts drie smalle staande lichten met een rooster daarvoor. Rechts hiervan bevinden zich twee dubbele tienruits tuindeuren. Op de verdieping twee dubbele achtruits draaivensters met luiken. De symmetrisch ingedeelde achtergevel heeft vier vensterassen van dubbele tienruits tuindeuren met luiken op de begane grond en dubbele achtruits draaivensters met luiken op de verdieping. In het dakschild zijn twee brede dakkapellen geplaatst met twee dubbele zesruits draairamen.

Description component 19: DWELLING HOUSE.
To the north-west of the main building near the farmstead 'De Hoge Spijk' lies a dwelling house from 1925 (date stone) built for the family Van Verschuer. The building erected on a rectangular ground plan, block-shaped structure consists of two storeys under a muted improved Dutch-patterned tiles covered, truncated hipped roof with built-in corner chimneys. The brick facades have a string course (built-in roll course), the stretches above the windows are provided with ashlar birth stones.
The symmetrically arranged front facade has a central risalit flanked by three window bays with eight-pane casement windows with shutters. In the risalit is the entrance door under a wooden canopy supported by four columns of the Doric order. The wooden panelled door has on either side narrow tall passage lights for which wrought-iron grilles and on the first floor three closely spaced ten-pane lights for the stairwell door. Against the left side facade is a rectangular conservatory built with eight-pane windows and ten-pane garden doors. On the conservatory is a balcony with simple balustrade onto which double balcony doors with shutters open. To the right of the conservatory three eight-pane windows on the ground floor and a double eight-pane window on the first floor. The right side facade contains an entrance door with three-pane fanlight flanked by on the left one and on the right three narrow vertical lights with a grille in front. To the right of this are two double ten-pane garden doors. On the first floor two double eight-pane casement windows with shutters. The symmetrically arranged rear facade has four window bays of double ten-pane garden doors with shutters on the ground floor and double eight-pane casement windows with shutters on the first floor. In the roof panel are two wide roof dormers placed with two double six-pane casement windows.
