Onderdeel 7: TOEGANGSBRUG.
Omschrijving
De toegang tot het omgrachte hoofdgebouw wordt gevormd door een 18de-eeuwse toegangsbrug bestaande uit een houten loopdek gedragen door houten jukken en door gemetselde brughoofden. Aan de voorpleinzijde geven vier hardstenen treden toegang tot de brug, die voor het kasteel eindigt in een vijftredige hardstenen bordestrap en aan weerszijden daarvan een uitgebouwde trap die naar de kelder en de waterzijde leidt. Eenvoudige ijzeren balustrade.

Component 7: ENTRANCE BRIDGE.
Description
Access to the moated main building is formed by an 18th-century entrance bridge consisting of a wooden walkway supported by wooden yokes and by brick bridge abutments. On the forecourt side four sandstone steps provide access to the bridge, which ends in front of the castle in a five-step sandstone flight of steps and on either side thereof an outbuilding staircase that leads to the cellar and the water side. Simple iron balustrade.
