Inleiding
Zuidelijke zijingang aan de Schoterweg, behorend bij de oudste aanleg en in de huidige teruggeschoven situering sinds de verbreding van de Schoterweg tussen 1925 en 1930.
Omschrijving
De zuidelijke zijingang bestaat uit twee hardstenen pijlers met daartussen dubbele draaihekken. De pijlers staan op rechthoekig grondplan, hebben een plint en bestaan voorts uit een licht toelopende opstand die halfrond wordt afgesloten. Ter decoratie bevindt zich aan de bovenzijde een vlinder met daaronder een tekst. Op de rechter pijler (N) luidt de tekst: ZALIG ZIJN DE DOODEN DIE IN DEN HEERE STERVEN; op de linker pijler: STOF ZIJT GIJ EN TOT STOF ZULT GIJ WEDERKEEREN.

The southern side entrance consists of two hardstone pillars with double swing gates between them. The pillars stand on a rectangular ground plan, have a plinth and consist otherwise of a slightly tapering wall that is terminated in a semicircle. For decoration there is a butterfly at the top with text beneath it. On the right pillar (N) the text reads: ZALIG ZIJN DE DOODEN DIE IN DEN HEERE STERVEN; on the left pillar: STOF ZIJT GIJ EN TOT STOF ZULT GIJ WEDERKEEREN.
