GRAFMONUMENT, opgericht tot nagedachtenis van de familie Dudok van Heel in neogotische stijl uit 1865, behorende tot het complex "Algemene Begraafplaats Amersfoortse straatweg" te Bussum.
Omschrijving
Het familiegraf bestaat uit een rechthoekig vak van 10x5 m, afgezet met bakstenen banden met op de hoekpunten hardstenen neuten waarop de stijlen van het ijzeren grafhek staan en een grote, neogotische grafkapel van 230x230x580cm. De kapel staat op een hoog gecementeerd basement en heeft gepleisterde gevels met gestucte neogotische ornamentiek. Op de kruising van de dakvlakken staat een afgeknotte, achtkantige spits met bronzen gedrapeerde doek.
De westgevel bevat een, niet oorspronkelijke, dubbele deur die toegang geeft tot de grafkelder.
De oostgevel bevat vlak onder de topgevel het familiewapen waarboven een gevleugelde helm. Links van het wapenschild staat de tekst: JOH XI", en rechts: "VERS 25". Onder het wapenschild is een rechthoekig tekstbord bevestigd, waarop in verdiept Latijns kapitaal de tekst: "IK GOD/DE OPSTANDING EN HET LEVEN/DIE IN MIJ GELOOFT/ZAL LEVEN AL WARE HIJ/OOK GESTORVEN/GRAFKAPEL/VAN/DE FAMILIE/DUDOK VAN HEEL/ANNO 1865". Description
The family grave consists of a rectangular plot of 10x5 m, bordered with brick bands with hardstone corner finials at the corners on which the uprights of the iron grave fence are mounted, and a large, neogothic chapel of 230x230x580cm. The chapel stands on a high cemented basement and has plastered facades with stucco neogothic ornamentation. On the intersection of the roof planes stands a truncated, octagonal spire with bronze draped cloth.
The west facade contains a non-original double door providing access to the grave vault.
The east facade contains the family coat of arms just below the gable, above which is a winged helmet. To the left of the coat of arms shield stands the text: "JOH XI", and to the right: "VERS 25".
