Omschrijving
HOOFDGEBOUW (Huis Oolde). Het blokvormige hoofdgebouw is in 1663 (zie jaartalankers) gebouwd op enige afstand van de oorspronkelijke huisplaats. Rond 1771 is het huis voorzien van de Bentheimer zandstenen ingangspartij in Lodewijk XIV-stijl en in de 19de eeuw gepleisterd. Het op rechthoekige grondslag opgetrokken pand bestaat uit een souterrain en twee bouwlagen onder een met gesmoorde Oud-Hollandse pannen gedekt afgeplat schilddak met hoekschoorstenen en voorzien van dakkapellen met halfronde frontons en klauwstukken in Lodewijk XIV-stijl. De symmetrisch ingedeelde vijfassige voorgevel wordt geaccentueerd door de zandstenen toegangspartij met vijftredig bordes. De omlijsting omvat een dubbele toegangsdeur met snijlicht en een meerruits verdiepingsvenster. In de omlijsting is een geaccoleerd wapenschild Van Keppel en Heeckeren aangebracht. Aan weerszijden van de middenas zijn meerruits schuifvensters, die op de verdieping voorzien zijn van persiennes. De overige gevels kennen een regelmatige vensterindeling met meerruitsvensters behangen met persiennes, behalve de vensters in de achtergevel. Voor de linker zijgevel is een breed bordesterras gebouwd (XXa), waar een wapensteen is ingemetseld (steen met jaartal 1664 en de wapens van de geslachten Van Keppel, Ittersum, Coeverden en Sloet), rechts in de gevel dubbele terrasdeuren. Tegen de achtergevel is een rechthoekige aanbouw van latere datum. In het INTERIEUR is onder meer van belang de oorspronkelijke plattegrond met een centrale gang geflankeerd door kamers.

Description
MAIN BUILDING (Huis Oolde). The cubic main building was constructed in 1663 (see date anchors) at some distance from the original homestead. Around 1771 the house was provided with the Bentheimer sandstone entrance section in Louis XIV style and in the 19th century plastered. The building erected on a rectangular plan consists of a basement and two storeys under a hipped roof covered with suppressed Old Dutch tiles with corner chimneys and provided with roof dormers with semi-circular pediments and claw pieces in Louis XIV style. The symmetrically arranged five-bay front facade is accentuated by the sandstone entrance section with five-step portico. The frame comprises a double entrance door with fanlight and a multi-light storey window. In the frame an accolled coat of arms of Van Keppel and Heeckeren is displayed. On either side of the central axis are multi-light sash windows, which on the storey are provided with venetian blinds. The other facades have a regular window arrangement with multi-light windows fitted with venetian blinds, except for the windows in the rear facade. In front of the left side gable a broad terrace portico has been built (XXa), where a heraldic stone has been set in (stone with date 1664 and the arms of the families Van Keppel, Ittersum, Coeverden and Sloet), on the right in the gable double terrace doors. Against the rear facade is a rectangular extension of later date. In the INTERIOR is notable, among other things, the original ground plan with a central corridor flanked by rooms.
