Inleiding
ERFSCHEIDING, onderdeel uitmakend van het Nederlandsche Protestantenbond-complex te Weesp, gebouwd omstreeks 1905 in overgangsarchitectuur.
De erfscheiding vormt de oostelijke begrenzing van de binnenplaats aan de Nieuwstraat en wordt ingeklemd tussen de consistoriekamer (in het zuiden) en de voormalige bewaarschool (in het noorden).
Omschrijving
Erfscheiding, bestaande uit een bakstenen muur ter hoogte van circa 1.8 meter en smeedijzeren hekwerken erop. De muur is opgetrokken in rode baksteen in kruisverband, afgewerkt met een knipvoeg. De plint wordt afgesloten door een rollaag. Op de muur zijn enkele rechthoekige bakstenen pijlers gezet, waartussen de smeedijzeren hekwerken hangen. De muur wordt afgesloten door hardstenen dekstenen met afzaat; de pijlers met een platte deksteen. In de muur is een rechthoekig poortje met opgeklampte deur aangeracht. Enkele hoekstenen en de latei boven de deur zijn van hardsteen.

BOUNDARY FENCE, component of the Nederlandsche Protestantenbond complex in Weesp, constructed approximately 1905 in transitional architecture.
The boundary fence forms the eastern boundary of the courtyard on Nieuwstraat and is wedged between the consistory room (to the south) and the former infants' school (to the north).
Description
Boundary fence, consisting of a brick wall approximately 1.8 metres high and wrought iron railings on top. The wall is constructed in red brick in Flemish bond, finished with a struck joint. The plinth is terminated by a roll course. Several rectangular brick piers are set on the wall, between which the wrought iron railings are hung. The wall is terminated by hard stone capping stones with slope; the piers with a flat capping stone. A small rectangular gate with a clasped door has been inserted in the wall. Some corner stones and the lintel above the door are of hard stone.
