HEILIG HARTBEELD op sokkel, centraal gesitueerd op het Tempsplein. Het beeld betreft een ontwerp van Toon Dupuis uit 1922. De sokkel werd ontworpen door architect Dirk Roosenburg.
Omschrijving
Heilig Hartbeeld vervaardigd in brons. In het bronzen voetstuk is naam aangebracht van de kunstenaar. Het toegepaste bouwmateriaal voor de sokkel is natuursteen. De sokkel loopt trapsgewijs omhoog. Aan de achterzijde van de sokkel een boogvormige rand in natuursteen. Deze rand omsluit een bloemperk. Aan de voorzijde van de sokkel een kleine boogvormige verhoging in natuursteen.
Waardering
Het Heilig Hartbeeld bezit cultuurhistorische waarde als bijzondere uitdrukking van een geestelijke, rooms-katholieke, ontwikkeling.
