Inleiding
Vier OPZICHTERSWONINGEN onder-één-kap zijn gebouwd rond 1910-1915 in opdracht van de Oranje Nassau I mijnen. De woningen zijn gebouwd in Lotharingse stijl vermoedelijk naar ontwerp van architect A. Lugten. De woningen vormen met nog vier blokken beambtenwoningen, een blok hoofdopzichterswoningen en de directeursvilla het complex Sittarderweg. Bij de panden is in 1940 een badkamer op de gang naar bijkeuken geplaatst. UITGESLOTEN VAN BESCHERMING zijn alle garages en schuurtjes die later zijn gebouwd. Pand nr.98 heeft rolluiken, bij pand nr.102 zijn de gevels gereinigd en bijgevoegd en bij pand nr.104 is de achtergevel gedeeltelijk gereinigd.
Omschrijving
Het blok van vier OPZICHTERSWONINGEN heeft één en twee bouwlagen onder wolfsdaken. Het dak loopt evenwijdig aan het blok en heeft een haaks wolfsdak ter plaatse van de risaliet. Op het dak staan dakkapellen onder een schilddak en schoorstenen, er liggen muldenpannen en kleine dakramen. Pand nr.98 heeft betonpannen. Pand nr.102 heeft dakkapel met nieuwe pannen. Pand nr.104 heeft nieuwe dakpannen en een dakraam. De houten geprofileerde bakgoot op consoles ter plaatse van de risaliet een cirkel- of ruitmotief. Tussen pand nr.102 en 104 een houten gootlijst met ruitmotief. De hoofdzakelijk L-vormige plattegronden zijn gespiegeld ten opzichte van de woningscheidende wand, evenals de indeling van de gevels. De gevels hebben een risalerende plint onder gecementeerde afdeklaag en optrek van baksteen in kruisverband met speklagen. In de gevels bevinden zich segmentboogvormige kozijnen met houten deuren en vensters met bovenlicht met roedeverdeling. De segmentboogstrek heeft gepleisterde aanzet- en sluitstenen. Muurankers, drie baksteen treden en baksteen dorpel.
De VOORGEVEL van elk pand heeft een bouwlaag en een risaliet waarin de entree is geplaatst. De entree is bereikbaar met drie gecementeerde baksteen treden en natuursteen dorpel. Naast de entree ligt een smal venster en in de topgevel met wolfseind bevindt zich een venster. Onder het wolfseind zijn getrapte vleilagen aanwezig. Naast de risaliet bevinden zich twee vensters, de hoekpanden hebben hier maar een venster. Boven dit geveldeel bevindt zich een dakkapel met driedelig venster met bovenlicht, de zijkanten zijn bekleed met leien. Pand nr.104 heeft vensters zonder bovenlicht.
De ZIJGEVEL is asymmetrisch en heeft twee traveeën met in de eerste laag blinde vensters en in de tweede een groot en een klein venster. Pand nr.98 heeft vier blinde vensters, pand nr.104 heeft in de tweede laag links een blind raam.
De ACHTERGEVEL van elk pand heeft twee traveeën. In de eerste laag bevinden zich twee vensters, waaronder een driedelig ter plaatse van de keuken. Tegen de achtergevel staat een L-vormig volume van een laag met deur en een venster, waarop een kleiner volume van een laag. De berging is gecementeerd. In de tweede laag van de achtergevel bevinden zich twee tweedelige vensters. De structuur van het INTERIEUR van de panden nr.98, 100 en 102 is redelijk in tact, van pand nr.104 in hoge mate in tact. Waardering
