Inleiding
HOOIBERG behorend bij het boerderijcomplex "Veldzigt" (beschermd onder monumentnummer 41049). In oorsprong stonden er twee hooibergen bij het complex, waarvan een bewaard gebleven is. De in Traditioneel-Ambachtelijke stijl gebouwde hooiberg staat rechts (aan de zuidkant) van de boerderij.
Omschrijving
Vijfroedige hooiberg met een met riet gedekte kap. De onderkant van de kap is voorzien van vijf bintbalken, een groot aantal sporen en vijf balkjes in de top, die de sporen ondersteunen en de dwarsverbinding tussen de bintbalken vormen. De originele heeft en heeftboom zijn nog bij de hooiberg aanwezig.
Waardering
De hooiberg is van algemeen belang vanwege de cultuurhistorische en architectuurhistorische waarden als belangrijk onderdeel van een voor de regio karakteristiek boerderijcomplex. HAY BARN belonging to the farmyard complex "Veldzigt" (protected under monument number 41049). Originally there were two hay barns at the complex, one of which has been preserved. The hay barn built in Traditional-Craftsmanship style stands to the right (on the south side) of the farmhouse.
Description
Five-rafter hay barn with a thatch-covered roof truss. The underside of the roof frame is provided with five rafter ties, a large number of purlins and five small beams at the apex, which support the purlins and form the cross-connection between the rafter ties. The original roof hook and roof beam are still present at the hay barn.
