De met de nokrichting vrijwel haaks op de Haardijk gelegen, deels onderkelderde langhuisBOERDERIJ 'Haugesund' met boenhok bestaat uit één bouwlaag op rechthoekige plattegrond onder een afgewolfd, rieten zadeldak met rode nokvorsten. De gevels zijn gemetseld met smalle, rode baksteen in kettingverband, waarin kruisvensters, twee- en drielichtsvensters met roedenindeling en halve luiken zijn gezet. De kopgevels zijn aan de bovenzijde afgewerkt met vlechtingen. De asymmetrische voorgevel (oosten) is een afgeknotte kopgevel van vier vensterassen breed met muurankers. Rechts bevindt zich het opkamervenster en een keldervenster met diefijzers. Onder het wolfeind is een kruisvenster geplaatst. In de linker zijgevel bevindt zich de hoofdtoegang tot het woongedeelte. De gevel is hier plaatselijk hoger opgetrokken en wordt in het dakschild voortgezet. De ingang bestaat uit een getoogde, opgeklampte lattendeur met een smal roeden bovenlicht. Op de deurkalf is het bouwjaar (1933) en de naam van de boerderij geschilderd. Rechts van de deur is een tweelichtsvenster, terwijl links een drielichtsvenster is geplaatst. Links van laatstgenoemde venster begint het stalgedeelte, waar in de gevel twee dubbele vierruits stalvensters met diefijzers zijn geplaatst. De rechter zijgevel kenmerkt zich onder meer door een uitbouw van het boenhuis. Het dakschild is, ten behoeve van het boenhuis en daklichten aan weerszijden hiervan, plaatselijk opgelicht. Het boenhuis wordt gedekt door een doorschietend deel van dit dakschild. De stalvensters zijn aan deze zijde getoogd. De afgeknotte achtergevel, voorzien van muurankers en heeft een symmetrische indeling van drie assen breed met in elke as een getoogde, opgeklampte lattendeur. Ter weerszijden van de middelste deur bevindt zich ter hoogte van de bovendorpel een halfrond venster met straalsgewijze roedenindeling. De draagconstructie bestaat uit ankerbalkgebinten, waarbij de traditionele gebintplaten ontbreken. De spantbenen van de kapconstructie zijn in de kop van de stijlen ingelaten.
Waardering
De boerderij 'Haugesund' is van algemeen belang vanwege de cultuur- en architectuurhistorische waarde als gaaf voorbeeld van een langhuisboerderij in een historiserende, traditionele bouwstijl uit de jaren '30 van de 20ste eeuw, die deel uitmaakt van het oeuvre van architect H. van der Kloot Meyburg. Tevens heeft het ensemblewaarde doordat het tezamen met een aantal boerderijen langs de Haardijk behoort bij het landgoed Linschoten en omdat het een ruimtelijke, stilistische en functionele relatie heeft met de overige complexonderdelen op het erf.

The partly cellaried long-house FARM 'Haugesund' with scullery, with its ridge direction virtually perpendicular to the Haardijk, consists of one storey on a rectangular floor plan under a curved, thatched gabled roof with red roof ridge ornaments. The facades are built in narrow red brick in chain bond, in which cross windows, two- and three-light windows with glazing bars and half shutters are set. The gable ends are finished at the top with wattle. The asymmetrical front facade (east) is a truncated gable of four window bays wide with ornamental wall anchors. On the right is the upper chamber window and a cellar window with theft bars. Under the half-hipped end a cross window has been placed. In the left side facade is the main entrance to the residential part. The facade is locally raised higher and continues in the roof slope. The entrance consists of an arched, clamped wooden lattice door with a narrow glazing bar fanlight. On the door frame is the construction year (1933) and the name of the farm painted. To the right of the door is a two-light window, while on the left a three-light window is placed. To the left of the latter window begins the stable section, where in the facade two double four-pane stable windows with theft bars are placed. The right side facade is characterised among other things by an extension of the scullery. The roof slope is, for the benefit of the scullery and roof lights on either side of it, locally raised. The scullery is covered by a through-going part of this roof slope. The stable windows are arched on this side. The truncated rear facade, furnished with ornamental wall anchors and has a symmetrical division of three bays wide with in each bay an arched, clamped wooden lattice door. On either side of the middle door at the height of the upper lintel is a semicircular window with radial glazing bar division. The load-bearing structure consists of tie-beam frames, in which the traditional frame plates are absent. The roof rafters of the roof truss structure are let in at the head of the posts.
Valuation
The farm 'Haugesund' is of general importance because of its cultural and architectural-historical value as an intact example of a long-house farm in a historicising, traditional building style from the 1930s of the 20th century, which is part of the oeuvre of architect H. van der Kloot Meyburg. Furthermore, it has ensemble value in that it together with a number of farms along the Haardijk belongs to the Linschoten estate and because it has a spatial, stylistic and functional relationship with the other complex components on the plot.
