Landhuis dat onderdeel uitmaakt van het complex 'Oosterwijk' uit 1861.
Omschrijving
Vrijstaand gelegen blokvormig LANDHUIS bestaande uit twee bouwlagen onder dwarsgeplaatst rood pannen zadeldak. Het bakstenen pand is crème gepleisterd. Het huis heeft een streng symmetrische opzet, welke in de plattegrond en de vrijwel identieke voor- en achtergevel zichtbaar is.
De façade heeft op de begane grond ter weerszijden van de brede ingangspartij gekoppelde vensters. De bovendorpels van de bovenlichten zijn licht gebogen. De dubbele voordeur is gevat tussen pilasters met verdiepte velden, welke achter het smeedijzeren balkon op rijke consoles, doorlopen in de tweede bouwlaag. De pilasters flankeren de openslaande balkondeuren onder een tweedelig bovenlicht. De middenas wordt afgesloten door een kroonlijst die de naam van het huis bevat. De ramen op de verdieping onderscheiden zich slechts van die der benedenverdieping door hun zesruitsvensters en hun afsluiting door een kroonlijst. Een rond het huis doorlopende geprofileerde waterlijst scheidt beide bouwlagen. De daklijst is rijk gesneden.
De achtergevel is qua indeling vrijwel identiek aan de voorgevel.
De zijgevels bevatten een zelfde type venster als voor- en achtergevel, echter niet gekoppeld. Ook de bovenramen aan de achtergevel zijn enkelvoudig. Het interieur van het landhuis verkeert nog in authentieke staat; een doorlopende gang verbindt voor- en achterzijde. Er zijn dubbele, symmetrisch tegenover elkaar gelegen deuren naar de kamers.

Description
Freestanding block-shaped COUNTRY HOUSE consisting of two storeys under a transversely placed red tile gabled roof. The brick building is rendered cream coloured. The house has a strictly symmetrical layout, which is visible in the floor plan and the virtually identical front and rear facades.
The façade has coupled windows on either side of the broad entrance section on the ground floor. The upper sills of the fanlights are slightly curved. The double front door is set between pilasters with recessed fields, which continue behind the wrought iron balcony on rich corbels into the second storey. The pilasters flank the glazed balcony doors beneath a two-part fanlight. The central axis is closed off by a cornice bearing the name of the house. The windows on the upper floor differ from those of the ground floor only by their six-pane windows and their termination by a cornice. A moulded drip moulding running around the house separates both storeys. The eaves cornice is richly carved.
The rear facade is virtually identical in layout to the front facade.
The side facades contain the same type of window as the front and rear facades, but not coupled. The upper windows on the rear facade are also single. The interior of the country house remains in authentic condition; a continuous hallway connects the front and rear. There are double doors symmetrically facing each other leading to the rooms.
