Omschrijving onderdeel 3: Bouwhuizen (op de bijbehorende kaart aangegeven met nr. 3).
Links en rechts van het voorplein liggen twee BOUWHUIZEN. Zij zijn tegelijk met de herbouw van het kasteel opgetrokken. Getuige een steentje in de gevel van het linker bouwhuis is dit in 1857 gewijzigd. Het linker bouwhuis deed dienst als koestal en later als koetshuis, het rechter was als oranjerie of 'broeijerij' in gebruik. Sporen van de hoge ramen zijn onder de pleisterlaag verborgen. Het zijn sober uitgevoerde gebouwen op rechthoekige plattegrond van een bouwlaag onder een schilddak.

Description
Description component 3: Outbuildings (indicated on the accompanying map with no. 3).
On either side of the forecourt lie two OUTBUILDINGS. They were erected at the same time as the rebuilding of the castle. Evidence of a stone in the facade of the left outbuilding shows it was modified in 1857. The left outbuilding served as a cow shed and later as a carriage house, the right one was used as an orangery or 'hothouse'. Traces of the high windows are hidden under the plaster layer. They are soberly executed buildings with a rectangular floor plan of one storey under a hipped roof.
