ONDERDEEL 23:
BRUG TUSSEN KASTEEL EN ZUID-WILLEMSVAART: moderne houten brug op oude gemetselde bakstenen landhoofden waarop aan beide zijden/oevers vier maal twee identieke natuurstenen elementen symmetrisch en naast elkaar staan opgesteld bestaande uit een veelhoekig object in de vorm van een kasteeltoren (vier stuks) geposteerd op een vierkante sokkel, de schacht geleed met langwerpige schietsleuven, de bekroning in de vorm van kantelen; vierde kwart negentiende eeuw. De (vier) hoekpijlers van de brug op geprofileerde sokkel, de schacht voorzien van een afzaatvormige uitkraging, de bekroning in de vorm van een zadeldak waarin een driepasmotief en een driehoekig motief, de nok geaccentueerd door een rondprofiel. Aan de landzijde van deze pijlers een zware smeedijzeren ketting waarvan de laatste schakel met een steen in de grond is verankerd en aan de tegenoverliggende zijde met een smeedijzeren haak aan de pijler bevestigd.
De BRUG TUSSEN KASTEEL EN ZUID-WILLEMSVAART bezit algemeen belang omdat sprake is van: - historiciteit; - een karakteristiek ensemble dat zowel architectonisch alsook qua locatie een structureel en functioneel historisch onderdeel van het kasteelterrein vormt; - opvallende materiaalkeuze die in combinatie met het historisch vakmanschap en de goede technische staat in stijlhistorisch opzicht onderscheidend is; - accentuering van een zichtas binnen het ensemble van kasteel en directe omgeving.

BRIDGE BETWEEN CASTLE AND ZUID-WILLEMSVAART: modern wooden bridge on old mortared brick abutments on which on both sides/banks four times two identical natural stone elements are arranged symmetrically and side by side consisting of a polygonal object in the form of a castle tower (four pieces) positioned on a square base, the shaft articulated with elongated gun slits, the crown in the form of crenellations; fourth quarter nineteenth century. The (four) corner piers of the bridge on profiled base, the shaft provided with a stepped-out corbelling, the crown in the form of a gabled roof in which a tripartite motif and a triangular motif, the ridge accentuated by a round moulding. On the land side of these piers a heavy wrought-iron chain of which the last link is anchored in the ground with a stone and on the opposite side is attached to the pier with a wrought-iron hook.
