ONDERDEEL 9:
HEKWERK VAN HET WEILAND VOOR HET KASTEEL, begin twintigste eeuw met oudere onderdelen: twee verticaal opgestelde gietijzeren kanonslopen; tussen de kanonslopen ragfijn, ajour giet- en smeedijzeren hekwerk door een buisframe omvat, rankenmotief op de bovenkant van het frame.

FENCING OF THE MEADOW IN FRONT OF THE CASTLE, early twentieth century with older components: two vertically positioned cast-iron cannon barrels; between the cannon barrels delicate, openwork cast- and wrought-iron fencing encompassed by a tubular frame, leaf scroll motif on the top of the frame.

The FENCING OF THE MEADOW IN FRONT OF THE CASTLE is of general significance by reason of: - its age; - the inventiveness embodied in the historical object, consisting of the combination of components of different origin into one new artefact and as such representative of the historical essence of the estate; - as a functional component of the estate; - as a characteristic and recognisable historical marking point, being the entrance to the meadow.
