ONDERDEEL 22:
TOEGANGSHEK AAN DE ZUIDELIJKE OPRIJLAAN TUSSEN HET KASTEEL EN DE ZUID-WILLEMSVAART: toegangshek met hardstenen hekpijlers en gesmede ijzeren hekvleugels en zijstukken; smeedwerk tweede kwart achttiende eeuw. De pijlers op hardstenen sokkel, licht uitbuikend aan de onderzijde. Aan de bovenzijde zijn de pijlers met een geprofileerde lijst uitgevoerd, op de pijlers een hardstenen kogel. De hekvleugels zijn bekroond met een centraal geplaatst, drievoudig gelobd hoofdmotief waarin gekrulde patronen en bladeren met links en rechts ajour ingevulde voluten.

ACCESS GATE ON THE SOUTHERN DRIVE BETWEEN THE CASTLE AND THE ZUID-WILLEMSVAART: access gate with hardstone gate piers and wrought-iron gate wings and side panels; wrought work second quarter eighteenth century. The piers on hardstone base, slightly bulging at the underside. At the top the piers are executed with a profiled moulding, on the piers a hardstone ball. The gate wings are topped with a centrally placed, trilobate main motif in which curled patterns and leaves with open-work scrolls on the left and right.
