Omschrijving HEKWERK.
Tussen de Hengelosestraat en het park rondom het huis Schuttersveld staat een afscheiding in de vorm van een laat 19de-eeuws hekwerk. Het smeedijzeren hek is geplaatst op een gepleisterde bakstenen voet en is opgebouwd uit smeedijzeren spijlen, voorzien van knoppen en regels. Aan weerszijden van het hek bevinden zich twee identieke toegangshekken, bestaande uit twee vlakke smeedijzeren pijlers waarbinnen twee draaibare vleugels zijn aangebracht. In de pijlers staan de woorden SCHUTTERS en VELD.

Het HEKWERK aan de oprijlaan behorende tot de historische buitenplaats Schuttersveld is van algemeen belang:

Description FENCING.
Between the Hengelosestraat and the park surrounding the house Schuttersveld stands a boundary in the form of late 19th-century fencing. The wrought-iron fence is placed on a plastered brick base and is built up from wrought-iron bars, provided with knobs and rails. On either side of the fence are two identical entrance gates, consisting of two flat wrought-iron pillars within which two hinged wings are fitted. In the pillars are the words SCHUTTERS and VELD.
