Omschrijving
HOOFDGEBOUW (De Ulenpas). Het in oorsprong 16de-eeuwse pand is in de 18de eeuw in classicistische stijl verbouwd. Het op rechthoekige grondslag opgetrokken bakstenen gebouw bestaat uit twee bouwlagen onder een met Oud-Hollandse pannen gedekt afgeplat schilddak met op de vier hoeken twee gemetselde en twee loze schoorstenen. De voorgevel met geblokte hoeklisenen is witgepleisterd, de overige gevels zijn witgesausd. De gevels worden geleed door roedenvensters met natuurstenen onderdorpels. De symmetrisch ingedeelde zevenassige voorgevel en vijfassige achtergevel kennen een invulling van zesruits Empire-schuifvensters, die aan de voorzijde voorzien zijn van persiennes. Bij de restauratie/herbouw in 1975 zijn in de achtergevel twee tuindeuren aangebracht en is een veranda gerealiseerd met gietijzeren zuilen en een ajourlijst afkomstig van het afgebroken deel van het huis. Centraal in de voorgevel de toegangsdeur met bovenlicht gevat in een omlijsting van geblokte pilasters bekroond door een driehoekig fronton en een omlijst verdiepingsvenster. In het midden wordt de gevel bekroond door een driehoekig fronton waarin een ronde wijzerplaat en aan weerszijden van het fronton een dakkapel. In de linker zijgevel een deur met bovenlicht en op de verdieping een zesruitsvenster en een oeil de boeuf; de rechter zijgevel heeft een onregelmatige invulling van drie zesruitsvensters met persiennes. Zestiende-eeuwse kelders. In het INTERIEUR is ondermeer van belang de schouwpartij in Lodewijk XV-stijl.

Description
MAIN BUILDING (De Ulenpas). The originally 16th-century building was rebuilt in classical style in the 18th century. The brick building erected on a rectangular base consists of two storeys under a hipped roof covered with Old Dutch tiles with on the four corners two mortared and two false chimney stacks. The front facade with rusticated corner pilasters is rendered white, the remaining facades are whitewashed. The facades are articulated by cross windows with natural stone sills. The symmetrically arranged seven-bay front facade and five-bay rear facade have a filling of six-pane Empire sash windows, which on the front are provided with shutters. During the restoration/reconstruction in 1975, two garden doors were installed in the rear facade and a veranda was realised with cast iron columns and a pierced moulding from the demolished part of the house. Central in the front facade the entrance door with fanlight set in a frame of rusticated pilasters crowned by a triangular pediment and a framed upper-floor window. In the middle the facade is crowned by a triangular pediment in which a round clock face and on either side of the pediment a roof dormer. In the left side facade a door with fanlight and on the upper floor a six-pane window and an oeil de boeuf; the right side facade has an irregular arrangement of three six-pane windows with shutters. Sixteenth-century cellars. In the INTERIOR the chimney breast in Louis XV style is notably important.
