Onderdeel 5
ORANJERIE
De uit 1865 daterende ORANJERIE op rechthoekige grondslag, gebouwd ter plaatse van de voorgaande orangerie en thans in gebruik als woonhuis. De uit rode baksteen opgetrokken oranjerie is thans twee bouwlagen hoog, doordat in 1979 de oranjerie van een tweede laag werd voorzien, waarbij de kapconstructie gerestaureerd werd in de oorspronkelijke vorm. De oranjerie is, evenals de duiventoren en de vierkante toren van kasteel Sterkenburg, naar een ontwerp van de architect N.J. Kamperdijk volgens een mathematisch opgezet ontwerpsysteem. Het INTERIEUR van de oranjerie werd tijdens de verbouwing in 1979 geheel gewijzigd en valt daarom wegens te geringe monumentale waarde en ouderdom buiten de bescherming.

ORANGERY
The ORANGERY dating from 1865 on a rectangular ground plan, built in place of the previous orangery and now in use as a dwelling. The orangery, constructed of red brick, is now two storeys high, having been provided with a second storey in 1979, whereby the roof truss structure was restored in its original form. The orangery is, like the pigeon tower and the square tower of Sterkenburg castle, designed according to the design of architect N.J. Kamperdijk following a mathematically conceived design system. The INTERIOR of the orangery was completely altered during the 1979 alteration and therefore falls outside protection due to insufficient monumental value and age.
