Omschrijving
(Op de bijbehorende kaart aangegeven met nr.5) BRUG MET TOEGANGSHEK. Voor de bassecour ligt een bakstenen boogbrug uit 1768 (zie sluitsteen). De boog is vervaardigd van natuursteen. De keermuren van de brug hebben een segmentvormig verloop en gaan over in de keermuren van het voorplein. Op de keermuur ligt een natuurstenen afdekplaat, waarop natuurstenen paaltjes staan die met elkaar verbonden zijn middels een schakelketting. Op het midden van de brug staat een smeedijzeren toegangshek bestaande uit twee draaibare vleugels tussen hekstijlen met aan weerszijden gekrulde zijstukken. De hekspijlen zijn voorzien van vergulde speerpunten en de stijlen zijn bekroond door een vergulde driepas decoratie.

Description
(Indicated on the accompanying map with no. 5) BRIDGE WITH ENTRANCE GATE. In front of the bassecour lies a brick arch bridge from 1768 (see keystone). The arch is constructed of natural stone. The retaining walls of the bridge have a segmental course and merge into the retaining walls of the forecourt. On the retaining wall lies a natural stone coping slab, on which natural stone bollards stand connected to each other by means of a chain link. In the middle of the bridge stands a wrought-iron entrance gate consisting of two swinging panels between gate posts with curled side pieces on either side. The gate spikes are provided with gilded spear points and the posts are crowned by a gilded trefoil decoration.
