Omschrijving
Omschrijving onderdeel 3 (bij Groeneveld 2; op de bijbehorende kaart aangegeven met nr.3) ORANJERIE. Rechts aan de bassecour staat een oranjerie uit 1702 met als pendant een gelijkvormig koetshuis uit hetzelfde bouwjaar. De op rechthoekige grondslag opgetrokken oranjerie bestaat uit één bouwlaag onder een met pannen gedekt, dubbel zadeldak met afgevlakte topgevels waarin een rond kijkgat is uitgespaard. Het gebouw is tweebeukig met oorspronkelijk aan de noordzijde de tuinmanswoning en aan de zuidzijde de oranjerie. De symmetrisch ingedeelde voorgevel heeft een middenpartij van drie traveeën geleed door vier geblokte pilasters en bekroond door een attiek. Twee meerruitsvensters flankeren een omlijste dubbele toegangsdeur met halfrond bovenlicht waarin spaakroeden. De omlijsting is in het midden voorzien van rustica met ijspegel-effect (zg. congélations) en wordt bekroond door een decoratie in Lodewijk-XIV stijl. Oorspronkelijk waren het kalf en bovenlicht van de deuren uitneembaar om de planten naar binnen te kunnen brengen. De toegang wordt benadrukt door een zuilenportiek van de Toscaanse orde, dat in ca.1980 is gereconstrueerd. Aan weerszijden van de middenpartij een deur met bovenlicht voorzien van een stervormige roedenverdeling en een meerruitsvenster. In de noordgevel bevinden zich meerruitsvensters, keldervensters en een deur. Links van de deur is een tussenverdieping aangebracht herkenbaar aan de vier kleine vensters (oorspronkelijk twee vensters). De oostgevel heeft op de begane grond twee meerruitsvensters, waarvan één schijnvenster en twee verdiepingsvensters. De westgevel heeft links een dubbele deur waarboven een dubbel luik en daarnaast een draaivenster met middenkalf. In het INTERIEUR is ondermeer van belang de schouw in de keuken en de trappen in de tuinmanswoning.

Description of component 3 (at Groeneveld 2; indicated on the accompanying map with no.3) ORANGERY. On the right of the service courtyard stands an orangery from 1702 with as a counterpart a similar coach house from the same construction year. The orangery built on a rectangular base consists of one storey under a pan-tiled, double gabled roof with flattened gable tops in which a round porthole is cut out. The building is two-aisled with originally on the north side the gardener's dwelling and on the south side the orangery. The symmetrically arranged front facade has a central section of three bays articulated by four rusticated pilasters and topped by an attic. Two multi-paned windows flank a framed double access door with semi-circular fanlight containing spoke glazing bars. The framing is provided in the middle with rustication with icicle effect (so-called congélations) and is topped by a decoration in Louis XIV style. Originally the lower part and fanlight of the doors were removable to allow plants to be brought inside. The entrance is emphasized by a portico of the Tuscan order, which was reconstructed ca.1980. On either side of the central section a door with fanlight provided with star-shaped glazing bars and a multi-paned window. The north gable contains multi-paned windows, cellar windows and a door. To the left of the door an intermediate floor has been installed recognizable by the four small windows (originally two windows). The east gable has on the ground floor two multi-paned windows, of which one false window and two storey windows. The west gable has on the left a double door above which a double shutter and next to it a pivot window with central light. In the INTERIOR are of importance among other things the fireplace in the kitchen and the stairs in the gardener's dwelling.
