Een aan de noordwestzijde op de historische buitenplaats 'Wickenburgh' gelegen, deels onderkelderde, WOONHUIS met het karakter van een landhuis bestaat uit twee bouwlagen op L-vormige plattegrond onder een met grijze Hollandse pannen gedekt en na de brand van 1951 vernieuwde schilddak. De uit grauwe baksteen opgetrokken in thans wit gesaust. De asymmetrische ingedeelde voorgevel (noorden) is zes vensterassen breed en heeft van links naar rechts twee fenêtres-a-terre, een dubbele tuindeur, twee fenêtres-a-terre en een venster met dubbel draairaam (zeslichts). Op de verdieping bevinden zich zes dubbele draairamen (vierlichts). De rechter zijgevel is na de brand van 1951 herbouwd. Het grenst aan een terras dat de omvang heeft van het bouwdeel dat tijdens de brand verloren is gegaan. De gevel is op de begane grond drie vensterassen breed met rechts een deur met bovenlicht en heeft op de verdieping één venster. De linker zijgevel is op de begane grond vier vensterassen breed en heeft op de verdieping drie vensters. De achtergevel heeft rechts een topgevel met voorsprong (het korte deel van de L), waarvoor een uit 1910 stammende houten serre onder plat dak is gezet. Het platte dak dient als balkon waarop twee dubbele balkondeuren op uitkomen. De stijlen van de serre zijn verrijkt met gesneden pilasters. De overstekende daklijst rust op gesneden klossen. In de top van de gevel zit een klein vierlichtsvenster. Ter linkerzijde van de voorsprong, in de oksel van het hoofdvolume, bevindt zich een éénlaags, bepleisterde bouwvolume onder plat dak. Rechts bevindt zich een negenruits schuifvenster. In de zijgevel van de korte L-poot bevindt zich links een deur met bovenlicht en een smal venster. De achtergevel van het hoofdvolume is bepleisterd. Op de begane grond bevindt zich één schuifvenster met rechts een kleine aanbouw. Op de verdieping bevinden zich twee negenruits schuifvensters en een deur die op het plat van de aanbouw uitkomt. In het interieur bevindt zich onder meer een 18de-eeuwse marmeren schouw.
Waardering

A RESIDENTIAL HOUSE with the character of a country house, located on the north-west side of the historic country estate 'Wickenburgh', partly with cellars below, consists of two storeys on an L-shaped floor plan under a hipped roof covered with grey Dutch tiles and renewed after the fire of 1951. Constructed of greyish brick, now rendered white. The asymmetrically arranged front facade (north) is six window axes wide and has from left to right two fenêtres-a-terre, a double glass door, two fenêtres-a-terre and a window with double casement (six-light). On the upper storey are six double casements (four-light). The right side facade was rebuilt after the fire of 1951. It borders a terrace which has the dimensions of the building part that was lost during the fire. The facade is on the ground floor three window axes wide with on the right a door with fanlight and has on the upper storey one window. The left side facade is on the ground floor four window axes wide and has on the upper storey three windows. The rear facade has on the right a gable with projection (the short part of the L), in front of which a wooden conservatory dating from 1910 under a flat roof has been placed. The flat roof serves as a balcony on which two double glass doors open. The uprights of the conservatory are enriched with carved pilasters. The overhanging roof edge rests on carved corbels. In the apex of the gable is a small four-light window. To the left of the projection, in the angle of the main volume, is a single-storey, plastered building volume under a flat roof. On the right is a nine-paned sash window. In the side facade of the short L-arm on the left is a door with fanlight and a narrow window. The rear facade of the main volume is plastered. On the ground floor is one sash window with on the right a small extension. On the upper storey are two nine-paned sash windows and a door which opens on to the roof of the extension. In the interior is among other things an 18th-century marble fireplace.
Valuation
The residential house is of general importance because of its cultural and architectural-historical value as an example of a country house, developed from a medieval surrounded farmstead. It also has ensemble value as an image-determining component of the country estate 'Wickenburgh' and because of the spatial and functional relationship with the other complex components.
