Omschrijving
Een in 1940 op de plaats van een voorganger gebouwde jachtopzienerswoning, gelegen op een zichtas vanaf het grote huis. De woning en de schuur zijn blijkens de bouwtekening ontworpen door ir. W.P.C. Knuttel BNA en D.E.C. Knuttel te Deventer. Het pand is opgetrokken in baksteen heeft een L-vormige plattegrond en een zadeldak met wolfseinden en een aan de achterzijde gedeeltelijk diep doorgetrokken dakvoet. De voorgevel is symmetrisch ingedeeld met centraal de entree gevormd door een glasdeur met smeedwerk (jaren '50) en aan weerszijden kruiskozijnen met roedendraairamen en halve luiken. De middenas van het pand wordt geaccentueerd door een goot boven de voordeur in de vorm van een rustieke uitgeholde boomstam op schoren en een grote dakkapel. Rondom bevat het pand verschillende gevelopeningen. Aan de achterzijde bevindt zich een houten aanbouw onder het doorgetrokken dakschild. Achter het huis bevindt zich een langwerpige bakstenen schuur met houten voorzijde onder een rieten dak met wolfseinden. Aan de voorzijde bevindt zich een hondenhok.
Waardering
De jachtopzienerswoning met schuur, gebouwd in 1940, is van algemeen belang vanwege: - het bouwtype landhuis met functie jachtopzienerswoning, uitgevoerd in landelijke trant (rieten dak, boomstam-goot, achterhuis in hout uitgevoerd) met kruiskozijnen in historiserende trant; de schuur met hondenhok, die eveneens een landelijk karakter draagt vanwege de uitvoering in hout en baksteen en een rieten dak; - de ensemblewaarden vanwege de functionele en visuele samenhang met de buitenplaats, mede bepaald door de zichtas op het huis; - de gaafheid van beide onderdelen.

Description
A hunting overseer's lodge built in 1940 in place of a predecessor, located on a sight line from the main house. The dwelling and the barn are, according to the building drawings, designed by ir. W.P.C. Knuttel BNA and D.E.C. Knuttel at Deventer. The building is constructed in brick, has an L-shaped floor plan and a gabled roof with half-hipped ends and a roof edge on the rear side partially deeply extended. The front facade is symmetrically laid out with centrally the entrance formed by a glass door with wrought ironwork (1950s) and on either side cross windows with glazing bars rotating frames and half shutters. The central axis of the building is accentuated by a gutter above the front door in the form of a rustic hollowed-out tree trunk on supports and a large roof dormer. Around it the building contains various wall openings. On the rear side there is a wooden extension under the extended roof slope. Behind the house is an elongated brick barn with wooden front under a thatched roof with half-hipped ends. At the front is a dog kennel.
