Omschrijving
Omschrijving VERWARMDE KAS. In de moestuin ligt een complex van kassen, bestaande uit een hoger deel, de druivenkas, en een aan de korte zijde aansluitend versmald en lager deel met drie te verwarmen broeibakken. De kas bestaat uit een in halfsteens verband gemetseld basement en een groengeschilderde houten opbouw, een verzwaard raamwerk van stijlen en spanten in combinatie met lichte stijlen en liggers en een nok met een beweegbaar been. De kassen konden worden verwarmd door een verwarmingsketel in een daaronder gelegen gemetselde kelderruimte, toegankelijk via een keldertrap. Voor de rookafvoer is er een schoorsteen aan de achterzijde van de kas.
Waardering
De verwarmde kas is van algemeen belang wegens cultuur-en architectuurhistorische waarde als historisch-functioneel onderdeel van de buitenplaats Larenberg.

Description HEATED GLASSHOUSE. In the kitchen garden lies a complex of glasshouses, consisting of a higher part, the grape house, and a narrower and lower part adjoining the short side with three brooders to be heated. The glasshouse consists of a basement laid in half-brick bond and a green-painted wooden superstructure, a reinforced framework of posts and timbers in combination with light posts and beams and a ridge with a moveable leg. The glasshouses could be heated by a heating boiler in a vaulted cellar space beneath it, accessible via a cellar stair. For smoke extraction there is a chimney on the rear side of the glasshouse.
Assessment
The heated glasshouse is of general interest due to its cultural and architectural historical value as a historically-functional component of the country estate Larenberg.
