Omschrijving DIENSTWONING. Enkele honderden meters verder, heuvelafwaarts richting Laren, staat een zeer ondiepe dienstwoning van een bouwlaag. Het zadeldak, evenwijdig aan de Naarderstraat, is gedekt met gesmoorde tuile-de-nord-pannen tussen de trapgevels met hardstenen dakplaten. De zuidwestzijde (de frontzijde) is voorzien van een hardstenen console overkragende eindtrap. De gepleisterde gevels hebben een zwartgeschilderde plint, horizontale bakstenen banden en ontlastingsbogen, zoals het koetshuis. In de straatgevel is de ingang met bovenlicht, geflankeerd door twee vensters met roedenverdeling. De geaccentueerde, naar Laren gerichte, zuidwestgevel heeft op de begane grond een getoogd venster met kalf en roedenverdeling. De getrapgevelde topgevel kraagt over op hardstenen consoles en is voorzien van een 'Dortse' geveltop. Aan de achterzijde staat een rond 1976 vernieuwde aanbouw onder lessenaarsdak.
Waardering
De dienstwoning is van algemeen belang wegens cultuur- en architectuurhistorische waarde als historisch-functioneel onderdeel van de buitenplaats Larenberg.

Description SERVANT'S COTTAGE. A few hundred metres further, downhill towards Laren, stands a very shallow servant's cottage of one storey. The gabled roof, parallel to the Naarderstraat, is covered with darkened tuile-de-nord tiles between the stepped gables with ashlar roof plates. The south-west side (the front side) is provided with an ashlar console supporting an end flight of steps. The plastered facades have a black-painted plinth, horizontal brick bands and relieving arches, like the coach house. In the street facade is the entrance with fanlight, flanked by two windows with glazing bars. The accentuated south-west facade, facing Laren, has on the ground floor a segmental window with calf and glazing bars. The stepped gabled gable wall projects over ashlar consoles and is provided with a 'Dortmund' gable top. On the rear side stands a lean-to extension renewed around 1976.
Assessment
The servant's cottage is of general interest due to its cultural and architectural historical value as a historically-functional component of the country estate Larenberg.
