STALLING/opslagruimte, onderdeel uitmakend van het watertorencomplex te Laren, gebouwd tussen 1931 en 1933 in expressionistische bouwtrant.
Omschrijving
Aan de magazijnruimte van de watertoren ontspringt op de uiterste zuidelijke hoek een forse, gesloten muur die naar het zuidwesten is doorgetrokken en met een halfcirkelvormige bocht de grote opslagruimte omgrenst. Vervolgens buigt de muur terug naar het noordoosten. De muur is opgetrokken in dezelfde baksteen als de watertoren. Bij de halve cirkel wordt de opslagruimte gedeeltelijk overdekt door een betonplaat, die op twee plaatsen wordt ondersteund door een stalen zuil. In de halfcirkelvormige muur is vlak onder de dakrand een reeks met acht lintvensters zichtbaar, waarbij elk venster zes naast elkaar geplaatste ruitjes bevat. Aan de buitenzijde wordt de halve cirkelvorm bovenlangs afgesloten door een rechte overstekende daklijst.

Description
From the storage room of the water tower, at its extreme southern corner, a robust, closed wall extends to the south-west and with a semi-circular curve encloses the large storage space. The wall then bends back to the north-east. The wall is built of the same brick as the water tower. At the semi-circle, the storage space is partially covered by a concrete slab, which is supported in two places by a steel column. In the semi-circular wall, just below the roof edge, a series of eight band windows is visible, with each window containing six panes placed side by side. On the outside, the semi-circular form is closed along the top by a straight overhanging roof line.
