DAM MET TOEGANGSHEK. Huis te Jaarsveld is toegankelijk middels een dam, die aan weerszijden is opgesloten door steunmuren van metselwerk waarin een U-vormig muuranker. De muren zijn afgewerkt met natuurstenen afdeksloven. Restauratie 1983. Op de dam staat een 18de-eeuws smeedijzeren spijlenhek voorzien van vlamvormige punten. Het hek bestaat uit twee stijlen bekroond door kroontjes waartussen, onder een rondboogvormige doorgang, dubbele hekvleugels. Zijstukken aan weerskanten.

DAM WITH ENTRANCE GATE. Huis te Jaarsveld is accessible by means of a dam, which is closed on both sides by support walls of masonry in which a U-shaped wall anchor. The walls are finished with natural stone coping slabs. Restoration 1983. On the dam stands an 18th-century wrought-iron railing gate provided with flame-shaped points. The gate consists of two pillars crowned by small crowns between which, under a round-arched passage, double gate wings. Side sections on either side.
