HISTORISCHE TUIN- EN PARKAANLEG behorende tot de buitenplaats Huis te Jaarsveld. De structuur van de aanleg wordt bepaald door de middeleeuwse dubbele, rechthoekige grachtenstructuur rondom het kasteeleiland en de voorburcht. De grachten zijn onderling gescheiden door houtsingels. Achter het huis staan vier kanonskogels, die in de gracht zijn gevonden, daterend uit de tijd van de Hoekse en Kabeljauwse twisten. De oude met eiken beplante dwarslaan tussen het voorterrein en de voorburcht, oorspronkelijke toegangslaan, is thans nog gaaf aanwezig. Van de brug naar de voorburcht resteren alleen de bakstenen fundamenten.

Description
HISTORIC GARDEN AND PARK LAYOUT belonging to the country estate Huis te Jaarsveld. The structure of the layout is determined by the medieval double, rectangular moat structure around the castle island and the outer ward. The moats are separated from each other by hedge rows. Behind the house stand four cannonballs, which were found in the moat, dating from the time of the Hoekse and Kabeljauwse conflicts. The old transverse avenue planted with oaks between the forecourt and the outer ward, originally the access avenue, is still in good condition. From the bridge to the outer ward only the brick foundations remain.

HISTORIC GARDEN AND PARK LAYOUT belonging to the country estate Huis te Jaarsveld of general importance:
