Inleiding
Gesloten houten RIJWIELSTALLING (1902), onderdeel van de historische buitenplaats Koningshof, ten zuidwesten van het hoofdgebouw. Het object werd geleverd als bouwpakket volgens het systeem van blokbouw.
Omschrijving
Op rechthoekig grondplan opgetrokken rijwielstalling van één bouwlaag onder zadeldak met flauwe dakhelling en ruime overstek, waarbij het kapbeschot aan de beide kopse zijden door een zwevende horizontale balk wordt verbonden. De wanden staan op een gemetselde voet in oranje-rode baksteen en bestaan uit gestapelde gekantrechte balken die op de hoeken over elkaar zijn gekeept met doorlopende einden. De kap is bedekt met een rode Hollandse pan en wordt aan de beide kopse zijden door gladde windveren afgesloten. De nok wordt nabij de blinde achterwand (west) doorbroken door een gemetselde schoorsteen in rode baksteen die later werd toegevoegd.
De voorzijde heeft een rechthoekige omlijste opening waarin een paneeldeur met glasruit is geplaatst. De beide zijwanden hebben elk een hooggeplaatste en gekoppelde reeks van vier kleine identieke rondboogvensters met voor elk raam een twee getordeerde smeedijzeren tralies met rozet.
De binnenwanden en het kapbeschot bestaan geheel uit kraaldelen. De vloer bestaat uit vloerdelen.
Waardering
De rijwielstalling is van algemeen belang uit cultuurhistorisch oogpunt als historisch-functioneel onderdeel van de historische buitenplaats Koningshof. Daarnaast heeft de rijwielstalling typologische waarde als vroeg twintigste-eeuws voorbeeld van een bouwpakket volgens het montagesysteem van de blokbouw.

Introduction
Enclosed wooden BICYCLE SHED (1902), component of the historic country estate Koningshof, to the south-west of the main building. The object was supplied as a building kit according to the block construction system.
Description
Bicycle shed of one storey on a rectangular floor plan, erected under a gabled roof with gentle roof slope and generous overhang, whereby the roof covering at both gable ends is connected by a floating horizontal beam. The walls stand on a mortared base in orange-red brick and consist of stacked squared logs that are notched over one another at the corners with continuous ends. The roof is covered with red Dutch pantiles and is finished at both gable ends with smooth wind braces. The ridge is pierced near the blind rear wall (west) by a mortared chimney in red brick which was added later.
The front has a rectangular framed opening in which a panel door with glass pane is placed. Both side walls each have a high-placed and coupled row of four small identical round-arched windows with for each window two twisted wrought-iron grilles with rosette.
The interior walls and roof covering consist entirely of bead elements. The floor consists of floor elements.
Valuation
The bicycle shed is of general importance from a cultural-historical point of view as a historic-functional component of the historic country estate Koningshof.
