Inleiding
Rond 1895 gebouwde schutsluis met een ovale kom, als spil van het Eexterveensche kanaal. De sluisdeuren zijn vernieuwd, aan de westzijde zijn banken geplaatst. De sluis werkt thans als overloop.
Omschrijving
Ovale sluiskom met schuin oplopende wanden. De gemetselde gewelven zijn gevat in een smeedijzeren vakwerk. In de sluishoofden zijn natuurstenen schampstenen verwerkt.
