Inleiding
Pastorie bij de RK kerk "Heilige Jozef", gebouwd in 1923 in opdracht van het Kerkbestuur van Bargercompascuum. Het ontwerp in traditionalistische stijl is van J. Cuypers uit Amsterdam.
De bescherming betreft de hoofdvorm, de detaillering van de gevels en de hoofdindeling, i.c. de lange gang centraal door de pastorie.
Omschrijving
Pastorie opgetrokken over twee bouwlagen met trasraam vanaf een rechthoekige plattegrond onder een schilddak met OH pannen gedekt. Plint, gepleisterde architraaf en gootlijst.
In de voorgevel centraal de entree met stoep. Boven de paneeldeur een luifel, daarboven een drieruits bovenlicht. Boven de entree een tweeruits venster. Rechts van de entree, op beide verdiepingen een drieruits venster met bovenlicht. Links op beide verdiepingen twee tweeruits vensters met bovenlichten. In het dakschild een tweeruits dakkapel met platdak.
In de rechterzijgevel op beide verdiepingen vanaf links een tweeruits een drieruits en weer een tweeruits venster als in de voorgevel. Rechts tussen de vensters een toegang. In het dakschild een drieruits dakkapel met platdak.
In de linkerzijgevel links een gewijzigde pui, rechts een glasdeur. Op de verdieping drie tweeruits vensters als in de voorgevel. In het dakschild een vierruitsdakkapel onder platdak.
Interieur
Vanaf de entree loopt een lange gang door de pastorie naar de kerk. Verder is de hoofdindeling bewaard gebleven.

Patorie van cultuurhistorisch en stedebouwkundig belang:

To the right of the entrance, on both storeys a three-light window with fanlight. On the left on both storeys two two-light windows with fanlights. In the roof pitch a two-light roof dormer with flat roof.
In the right side facade on both storeys from the left a two-light a three-light and again a two-light window as in the front facade. To the right between the windows an entrance. In the roof pitch a three-light roof dormer with flat roof.
In the left side facade on the left a modified storefront, on the right a glass door. On the storey three two-light windows as in the front facade. In the roof pitch a four-light roof dormer under flat roof.
Interior
From the entrance a long corridor runs through the rectory to the church. Furthermore the main layout has been preserved.
