Inleiding
De voormalige synagoge, thans peuterspeelzaal 't Jokertje, is gebouwd in 1884.
De bescherming betreft het exterieur.
Omschrijving
Synagoge opgetrokken in baksteen onder een afgewolfd zadeldak gedekt met oud hollandse pannen.
Symmetrische voorgevel (W) met vlechtwerk en windveren. Centraal een moderne deur onder een gepleisterd ruitmotief. Daarboven twee rosetvensters. Tussen de vensters een ingemetselde steen onder een rollaag met een Hebreeuwse tekst.
In de zijgevel(s) drie ijzeren rondboog vensters met radiale roedenverdeling bovenin. Onder de vensters drie blindnissen met segmentboog.
In de achtergevel twee blindnissen, de linker met onderin een opgeklampte deur. Tussen de nissen een gevelsteen met tussen ranken de tekst "gebouwd in 1884 {P.H. Wijnberg, N. Nathans, A. Vos} Kerkbestuurders, onder medewerking van JHr Mr L.A.S.J. de Millyj van Heiden Reinestein burgemeester"

Synagogue built in brick under a hipped roof covered with old Dutch tiles.
Symmetrical front façade (W) with lattice work and weathervanes. Centrally a modern door under a plastered lozenge motif. Above it two rose windows. Between the windows an inset stone under a roll moulding with a Hebrew text.
In the side façade(s) three iron round-arch windows with radial glazing bars in the upper part. Below the windows three blind niches with segmental arch.
In the rear façade two blind niches, the left one with an affixed door at the bottom. Between the niches a façade stone with the text between acanthus leaves "built in 1884 {P.H. Wijnberg, N. Nathans, A. Vos} Church Wardens, under the cooperation of JHr Mr L.A.S.J. de Millyj van Heiden Reinestein mayor"
