Inleiding
Boerderij van rond 1865 fraai gelegen op de kruising van de Groningerstraat en de Tolhuisweg, deeluitmakend van de oorspronkelijke agrarische structuur.
In het woongedeelte is dubbel glas aangebracht, waarin roeden zijn opgenomen. De roedenverdeling is afgeleid van de oorspronkelijke vensters.
Omschrijving
Boerderij van het krimpentype opgetrokken in baksteen onder afgewolfd zadeldak met OH pannen gedekt, het bedrijfsgedeelte bovendien grotendeels met riet. Op de nok twee gemetselde schoorstenen.
Het woongedeelte heeft een hoofdgestel met de goot als kroonlijst. Alle vensteropeningen hebben een sterk gedrukte tudorboog. Centraal In de symmetrische voorgevel met vlechtwerk, gevat in een pilasterstelling op neuten de entree; een paneeldeur met sierroosters en bovenlicht met levensboom. Aan weerszijdenvan de entree twee schuifvensters. Onder het wolfeind een T-venster geflankeerd door twee tweeruits mezzaninovensters.
In de linkerzijgevel twee schuifvensters als aan de voorzijde. In de kopgevel van de krimp een rechtgesloten zesruits schuifvenster. In de zijgevel een drielicht venster met bovenlichten en een inrit. In het stalgedeelte vijf ovale stalramen met scherpe hoeken en een zevenruits verdeling d.m.v. kruisende kwartronde roeden.
In de rechterzijgevel één schuifvenster als aan de voorzijde. In de kopgevel van de eerste krimp een smal drieruits schuifvenster, in de gevel twee gekoppelde schuifrvensters. In de kopgevel van de tweede krimp een klein venster. In de zijgevel van het bedrijfsgedeelte stalramen.
De bedrijfsgevel is nieuw opgemetseld. Uilebord en wolfeind met riet en OH- pannen zijn ongewijzigd.

The residential section has a main roof truss with the gutter as cornice. All window openings have a strongly depressed Tudor arch. Central in the symmetrical front elevation with fretwork, set within a pilaster arrangement on plinths is the entrance; a panelled door with ornamental grilles and fanlight with tree of life. On either side of the entrance two sash windows. Under the half-hipped roof a T-window flanked by two two-pane mezzanine windows.
In the left side elevation two sash windows as on the front. In the gable end of the crimp a right-angled six-pane sash window. In the side elevation a three-light window with fanlights and a carriage entrance. In the stable section five oval stable windows with sharp corners and a seven-pane division by means of crossing quarter-round glazing bars.
In the right side elevation one sash window as on the front. In the gable end of the first crimp a narrow three-pane sash window, in the elevation two coupled sash windows. In the gable end of the second crimp a small window. In the side elevation of the business section stable windows.
The business elevation has been newly remasoned. The owl board and half-hipped roof with thatch and OH tiles remain unchanged.
