Inleiding
Woning van rond 1930 beeldbepalend gelegen aan de Y-vormige kruising van de Julianaweg en de Eexterweg. Vrijstaand in een royale tuinaanleg met terassen en bordessen. Het pand is karakteristiek voor de bebouwing die in de uitbreidingsfase van de jaren dertig gerealiseerd is. Het ontwerp is in tradtionalistische stijl die, door de geometriche uitbouwen met een sterk horizontaal karakter en de in het zicht gebrachte constructie, doet denken aan de plastische volumewerking in het werk van Frank Lloyd Wright.
Omschrijving
Woning opgetrokken in baksteen in noors kettingverband met trasraam over twee bouwlagen onder een met romaanse pannen gedekt tentdak. De betonnen verdiepingvloer is bij uitbouwen en balkons in het zicht gelaten. Alle vensters met keramische raamdorpelstenen.
De voorgevel (Z) aan de kruising heeft een erker en een balkon dat naar links in de zijgevel overgaat in een loggia. Voor de erker een terras met bakstenen ommuring. De erker heeft een drielicht venster. Rechts van de erker een groot venster, op de verdieping twee tweeruits vensters. In het dakschild een dakkapel onder platdak met een tweelicht venster.
Aan de linkergevel (O) bevindt zich een uitbouw onder lessenaardak waarin zich de portiek met stoep en gemetselde eindbalusters bevindt. Links van de portiek en om de hoek een groot éénruits venster, in de kopgevel boven het venster een vierlobbig roosvenster. Rechts van de portiek en om de hoek in totaal drie hooggeplaatse vensters. Rechts van de uitbouw een overhoekse vensterpartij van twee éénruits venster met daarboven een balkon. In het dakschild een dakkapel onder platdak, waarin drie vensters met abstract-geometrische motieven in glas-in- lood.
Aan de achterzijde (N) een uitbouw over twee bouwlagen (de tweede van latere datum) onder platdak. Onderin de garage met garagedeur en twee gekoppelde vensters met bovenlicht (O), tweemaal twee gekoppelde hooggeplaatste vensters en een vijf gekoppelde vensters met bovenlicht, de middelste smaller en blind (N) en twee gekoppelde hooggeplaatste vensters in een dichtgezet gevelveld en twee gekoppelde vensters met bovenlicht (W). In het dakschild een dakkapel onder platdak.
Aan de rechtergevel (W) over de volle breedte, doorlopend naar de voorgevel, een loggia met balkon, waarvan kolommen, balustrade en borstwering gemetseld zijn. De middelste twee vakken van de loggia zijn dichtgezet met grote eenruits vensters tot een serre. In de loggia een overhoekse vensterpartij met éénruits vensters, sommige met bovenlicht. Voor de vensterpartij een steektrap naar de kelder. In het dakschild een dakkapel met platdak en drie gekoppelde vensters.
InterieurDe centrale hal met terassovloer heeft een lambrisering van glas dat aan de binnenzijde beschilderd is met ossebloed. De indeling van de woning is onveranderd.

Description
Residential building constructed in brick in Norwegian bond with crossbar frame over two storeys under a tent roof covered with Romanesque tiles. The concrete floor slab is left exposed at extensions and balconies. All windows with ceramic window sill stones.
The front facade (S) at the junction has a bay window and a balcony that extends to the left into the side facade as a loggia. In front of the bay window a terrace with brick enclosure. The bay window has a three-light window. Right of the bay window a large window, on the upper floor two two-pane windows. In the roof section a roof gable under flat roof with a two-light window.
On the left facade (E) there is an extension under a sloping roof in which the entrance section with stoep and trowelled end balusters is located. Left of the entrance and around the corner a large single-pane window, in the gable end above the window a four-lobed rose window. Right of the entrance and around the corner in total three high-placed windows. Right of the extension a corner window arrangement of two single-pane windows with above it a balcony. In the roof section a roof gable under flat roof, in which three windows with abstract-geometric motifs in leaded glass.
On the rear side (N) an extension over two storeys (the second of later date) under flat roof. At the bottom the garage with garage door and two coupled windows with fanlight (E), twice two coupled high-placed windows and a five coupled windows with fanlight, the middle one narrower and blind (N) and two coupled high-placed windows in a closed facade field and two coupled windows with fanlight (W). In the roof section a roof gable under flat roof.
On the right facade (W) over the full width, continuing to the front facade, a loggia with balcony, of which columns, balustrade and breastwork are trowelled. The middle two bays of the loggia are closed with large single-pane windows to form a conservatory. In the loggia a corner window arrangement with single-pane windows, some with fanlight. In front of the window arrangement a flight of stairs to the cellar. In the roof section a roof gable with flat roof and three coupled windows.
InteriorThe central hall with terracotta floor has wainscoting of glass painted on the inside with ox blood. The layout of the residential building is unchanged.
