DUIVENTOREN. In het weiland tussen de buitenplaatsen Salentein en De Berencamp staat een uit 1860 daterende achtkantige bakstenen duiventil onder een met zink bekleed tentdak in neogotische stijl. De duiventil bestaat uit een onderstel en een bovenbouw, van elkaar gescheiden door een uitgemetselde gepleisterde rand, waarvan het profiel in de gootlijst wordt herhaald. Het onderstel wordt gevormd door opengewerkte spitsbogen (acht pijlers) op gepleisterde poeren en in de zwikken van de bogen driehoekige gepleisterde diamantkoppen. In de bovenbouw acht spitsboogvormige spaarvelden waarvan zeven voorzien zijn van duivengaten deels met aanvliegplankje. De bogen worden geaccentueerd door geprofileerde lijsten van getrokken cement eindigend in consoles.

Description
DOVECOTE. In the meadow between the country estates Salentein and De Berencamp stands an octagonal brick dovecote dating from 1860 with a zinc-clad tent roof in neogothic style. The dovecote consists of a base and a superstructure, separated from each other by a rendered plastered rim, whose profile is repeated in the gutter moulding. The base is formed by open-worked pointed arches (eight pillars) on plastered plinths and in the spandrels of the arches triangular plastered diamond heads. In the superstructure eight pointed arch-shaped sparefields of which seven are provided with doveholes partly with landing board. The arches are accentuated by profiled mouldings of drawn cement ending in consoles.
