TOLHUISJE. Aan de Putterstraatweg staat een tolhuisje waarop vanuit Salentein een zichtas is geprojecteerd. Het witgepleisterde pandje (1821) is gebouwd op rechthoekige grondslag onder een afgewolfd dwars schilddak met bewerkte daklijst en overstek aan de voorzijde gedragen door twee houten consoles; op de nok twee gemetselde schoorstenen. In de voorgevel een oorspronkelijke dubbele deur met bovenlicht geflankeerd door twee zesruits schuifvensters met blinden. In de kopgevel (noord) twee zesruits schuifvensters en vierruiter in de top.

Description
TOLL HOUSE. On the Putterstraatweg stands a toll house on which a sight line is projected from Salentein. The whitewashed small building (1821) is built on a rectangular ground plan beneath a transversely vaulted hipped roof with worked roof edge and overhang at the front carried by two wooden consoles; on the ridge two masonry chimneys. In the front facade an original double door with fanlight flanked by two six-pane sash windows with shutters. In the gable end (north) two six-pane sash windows and a four-pane window at the top.
