STATIONSGEBOUW in baksteen opgetrokken vanaf een U-vormige plattegrond over twee bouwlagen onder zadeldaken gedekt met Hollandse pannen. Binnen de U-vorm één bouwlaag onder plat dak. Lateien, consoles, aanzet- en sluitstenen, deklijsten enz. zijn uitgevoerd in roze graniet.
De risalerende entree bevindt zich in de afgesnoten zuidoosthoek. De deuren zijn gevat in een dubbele natuurstenen omlijsting met segmentboog. Boven de entree, voor het zesledige bovenlicht, een luifel op ijzeren consoles. Boven de entree een balkon met hardstenen balustrade waarin een klok is opgenomen. Op de verdieping balkondeuren geflankeerd door vensters met bovenlicht. In de geveltop een dubbel draairaam. De entreegevel wordt beëindigd door een tuitgevel.
De lange gevel op het zuiden heeft twee risalieten. Rechts van het risaliet overhoeks de entree. Hier op de begane grond links een driezijdig traptorentje met een deur onder een schilddak. Rechts twee kleine vensters. Op de verdieping rechts een schuifvenster en links drie kleine vensters. In het dakschild twee dakkapellen met gebogen fronton. Het linker risaliet is gelijkvormig aan de entreegevel. De uitgang op de begane grond is echter gewijzigd. Op de verdieping twee schuifvensters. In het tussen de risalieten liggende gevelvlak drie vensterassen, elk met op de begane grond een drielicht venster met hardstenen deelzuilen en op de verdieping twee schuifvensters. In het dakschild drie dakkapellen.
De linkerzijgevel (W) heeft een uitgebouwde traptoren over drie bouwlagen met afgesnoten hoeken onder een steekkap met piron. Op de begane grond in de toren een entree met stoep en vensters, op de verdiepingen vensters. De tweede verdieping kraagt uit, gesteund door een reeks rondbogen op natuurstenen consoles. Rechts van de traptoren een moderne uitgang onder een drielicht en de luifel die boven de oorspronkelijke uitgang hing. Links eveneens een drielicht. Op de verdieping rechts twee en links één schuifvenster. In het dakschild rechts een dakkapel.
De rechterzijgevel (O) wordt bijna geheel in beslag genomen door de aanbouw. Op de verdieping zes kleine vensters.
Aan de achterzijde, de perronkant, twee kopse tuitgevels met rechts twee en links drie schuifvensters. In beide geveltoppen een dubbel draairaam. In de gevel ertussen een reeks kruiskozijnen. Aan de binnenzijde van de U-vorm, op de verdieping, verschillende deuren en vensters. In het dakschild erboven dakkapellen.
Interieur Het interieur is in hoofdlijnen intact gebleven. In de hal vier scheibogen op natuurstenen kolommen. De wanden zijn betegeld. Kiosken zijn toegevoegd en loketten zijn gemoderniseerd.

STATION BUILDING built in brick on a U-shaped ground plan over two storeys under gabled roofs covered with Dutch tiles. Within the U-shape one storey under a flat roof. Lintels, consoles, setting stones and keystones, coping stones etc. are executed in pink granite.
The projecting entrance is located in the closed-off south-east corner. The doors are set in a double natural stone frame with segmental arch. Above the entrance, in front of the seven-light fanlight, a canopy on iron consoles. Above the entrance a balcony with hardstone balustrade in which a clock is incorporated. On the storey balcony doors flanked by windows with fanlights. In the gable top a double casement window. The entrance facade is concluded by a spout gable.
The long south-facing facade has two projecting sections. To the right of the projecting section at the corner is the entrance. Here on the ground floor to the left a three-sided stair tower with a door under a hipped roof. To the right two small windows. On the storey to the right a sash window and to the left three small windows. In the roof slope two roof dormers with curved pediment. The left projecting section is identical to the entrance facade. However, the exit on the ground floor has been altered. On the storey two sash windows. In the facade field between the projecting sections three window bays, each with on the ground floor a three-light window with hardstone mullions and on the storey two sash windows. The left side facade (W) has a projecting stair tower over three storeys with closed-off corners under a pitched roof with ridge tile. On the ground floor in the tower an entrance with stoop and windows, on the storeys windows. The second storey projects out, supported by a series of round arches on natural stone consoles. To the right of the stair tower a modern exit under a three-light and the canopy which hung above the original exit. To the left likewise a three-light. On the storey to the right two and to the left one sash window. In the roof slope to the right a roof dormer.
The right side facade (E) is almost entirely taken up by the extension. On the storey six small windows.
At the rear, the platform side, two gable ends with spout gables with on the right two and on the left three sash windows. In both gable tops a double casement window. In the facade between them a series of cross windows. On the inner side of the U-shape, on the storey, various doors and windows. In the roof slope above roof dormers.
Interior The interior has remained largely intact. In the hall four arch braces on natural stone columns. The walls are tiled. Kiosks have been added and ticket offices have been modernised.
