Omschrijving
TUINKOEPEL behorende tot de buitenplaats Oostergeest. In de noordoosthoek van de parkaanleg gelegen koepel opgetrokken uit hout met een bamboe bekleding aan de buitenzijde. De op ronde grondslag gebouwde koepel staat op een bakstenen plateau en wordt overkapt door een tentdak met breed overstek afgewerkt met een houten sierlijst. De open voorzijde bestaat uit drie bogen rustend op pijlers die versierd zijn met houtsnijwerk. Ingericht met een ronde houten bank. Genoemd in de koopakte van 1839 'een tent aan de Heerenweg'.

GARDEN PAVILION belonging to the country estate Oostergeest. Situated in the north-east corner of the park layout a pavilion constructed of wood with bamboo cladding on the outside. The pavilion built on a circular ground plan stands on a brick terrace and is covered by a tent roof with broad overhang finished with a wooden ornamental moulding. The open front consists of three arches resting on piers decorated with carved woodwork. Furnished with a round wooden bench. Mentioned in the deed of purchase of 1839 as 'a tent on the Heerenweg'.
