Omschrijving
KOETSHUIS met MUUR behorende tot de buitenplaats Oostergeest. Achter het huis gelegen koetshuis annex paardenstal uit 1765. Oorspronkelijk grensde het koetshuis met de zijmuur (zuid) aan het schoolmeestershuis. Sinds de afbraak van het schoolmeestershuis in 1862 heeft de zuidkant een blinde gevel. De kloostermuur is nog aanwezig. Restauratie in 1980 (waarbij in de achtergevel twee openslaande deuren zijn aangebracht) en in 1990. Het op rechthoekige grondslag opgetrokken rood bakstenen koetshuis staat op een hardstenen plint onder een met Oud-Hollandse pannen gedekt zadeldak. In de voorgevel twee dubbele inrijdeuren met smal bovenlicht en een meerruits venster. Dakkapel met meerruits venster en houten zijstukken. De enkele inrijdeur in de kopgevel aan de noordkant geeft toegang tot de paardenstal. Daarboven een dakkapel.

COACH HOUSE with WALL belonging to the country estate Oostergeest. Coach house combined with stable located behind the house from 1765. Originally the coach house with its side wall (south) bordered the schoolmaster's house. Since the demolition of the schoolmaster's house in 1862 the south side has a blind facade. The cloister wall is still present. Restoration in 1980 (when two opening doors were installed in the rear facade) and in 1990. The red brick coach house constructed on a rectangular ground plan stands on a hard stone plinth under a gabled roof covered with Old Dutch tiles. In the front facade two double carriage doors with narrow fanlight and a multi-pane window. Roof dormer with multi-pane window and wooden side pieces. The single carriage door in the gable facade on the north side gives access to the stable. Above it a roof dormer.
