Omschrijving
HOUTEN SCHUUR behorende tot de buitenplaats Oostergeest. In de moestuin een op rechthoekige grondslag gebouwde houten schuur staande op een gemetselde plint onder een met Oud-Hollandse dakpannen gedekt zadeldak. De kopgevels zijn afgewerkt met gesneden houten windveren in krulvorm. Bouwjaar eind 19de eeuw. Aan de noordzijde een hoge houten schutting ter afsluiting van de moestuin. De lage houten schutting aan de zuidzijde van de schuur is een reconstructie en vanwege zijn recente leeftijd voor de bescherming van ondergeschikt belang. Restauratie 2000.

WOODEN BARN belonging to the country estate Oostergeest. In the vegetable garden a wooden barn built on a rectangular ground plan standing on a brick plinth under a gabled roof covered with Old Dutch roof tiles. The gable ends are finished with carved wooden weather vanes in curled form. Built at the end of the 19th century. On the north side a high wooden fence closing off the vegetable garden. The low wooden fence on the south side of the barn is a reconstruction and because of its recent age is of subordinate importance for the protection. Restoration 2000.
