De twee hekpijlers zijn van algemeen cultuurhistorisch belang:
- als contemporaine erfafscheiding, onderdeel uitmakend van het complex,
- als eenvoudig en in materiaalgebruik overeenkomstig onderdeel van het complex, dat daardoor de waarde van het geheel verhoogt.
