De ENKELE MITRAILLEURKAZEMAT MET ZOEKLICHT genummerd V, heeft een vrijwel identiek, doch spiegelbeeldig grondplan ten opzichte van de enkele mitrailleurkazemat met zoeklicht VI.
Het spiegelbeeldige aspect houdt verband met de situering van de kazematten op de uiteinde van het schoppenvormig plateau, links en rechts van de autoweg, en de daaruit volgende locatie van de kazematruimte in het werk. Het gebouw draagt als bestekjaar 1934.
Aan de binnen- en buitenzijde van de zuidwest wand zijn twee maal twee privaatruimtes aangebracht. Links en rechts van de privaten bieden stalen deuren toegang tot twee portalen, middels een hoek van 90 ° verbonden met de gangruimten. De twee ingangen worden vanuit een legeringslokaal voor manschappen en de kazematruimte door middel van een geweerschietgat via de portalen gedekt. The SINGLE MACHINE GUN CASEMATE WITH SEARCHLIGHT numbered V has a virtually identical, but mirror image ground plan in relation to the single machine gun casemate with searchlight VI.
The mirror image aspect is connected with the location of the casemates at the ends of the shovel-shaped plateau, left and right of the motorway, and the resulting location of the casemate space in the structure. The building bears the specification year 1934.
On the inside and outside of the southwest wall two sets of two toilet facilities have been provided. Left and right of the toilets steel doors provide access to two portals, connected by means of a 90° angle to the corridor spaces. The two entrances are covered from a barracks room for personnel and the casemate space by means of a rifle loophole via the portals. Against the northeast wall are grouped the casemate space for machine gun, the observation room with cupola, two barracks rooms for personnel and a mirror room (the searchlight shone via two mirrors).
Against the southwest wall are grouped the indoor toilet facilities, the engine room and the room for the searchlight. The casemate has a machine gun loophole in the northeast exterior wall at the northern and eastern corner respectively.
